Reef

Anytime I have an opportunity to partner up with a brand that I grew up with from little kid days, really brings back those nostalgia vibes and really gets me into that zone of, shit, I grew up with these guys. Reef sent me a pair of their boardshort collab with Corona and a pair of the Reef Voyager boot. When it comes to boardshorts, I normally go with the stretchys because 1. they’re fucking comfortable and 2. the stretchys save me on gnarly ball rash. idk. Thats a thing.

Been wearing them for a couple paddle outs and not chaffing at all, won me over to head on back to the regular boardys, maybe. But as far as the shoes go, hella comfortable. Theyre made to look like a pair of desert boots, and its waterproof and weather resistant. So you can wear them to work and head straight down to the beach for a surf sesh in them.

As far as the editing goes, I really wanted to incorporate that beach grunge vibe which played into the type of stying for this shoot with Paka and Ashley. Add on some of that film grain and grit thats been pretty popular these days and I am stoked with the end product.

Go and grab your pair of boardys and boots, today. Damn, that should be your new hashtag, Reef, #boardysandboots .
